In honor of my husband, who hails from upstate NY, and the home of the famous Half Moon Cookie, we have created the "Happy Half Moon Cookie!" This traditional chocolate-cake-like cookie is frosted with half vanilla frosting and half chocolate frosting; however, The Preserve House has added whiskey to the chocolate cookie and coconut rum to the vanilla frosting. Why? Why not! Why would you not want a happier cookie? :)
